 The 2008 Make-A-Wish Gala soars to success!
The 2008 Make-A-Wish Gala, which celebrated children's "Journeys to Joy," raised funds to support future children's wishes. Liz Brunner (WCVB Channel 5) emceed the event, as wish children and families shared their stories.
Curt Schilling of the Boston Red Sox was present to accept the 2008 Wish Hero Award, while Entertainment Cruises (owner of the Odyssey and the Spirit of Boston) was honored with the first-ever Community Spirit Award.
