Two local wish children attend Super Bowl XLV in Texas

Type:  Announcements

For two children, Super Bowl Sunday was more than an exciting football game - it was a magical wish come true.  Craig, 11, diagnosed with a form of lymphoma, and Sean, 12, diagnosed with a form of leukemia, were whisked away to Texas and saw the Super Bowl in-person at Cowboys Stadium!

Craig, Sean, and their families arrived in Texas with plenty of time to explore before the big game. The excitement began on Saturday when the boys traveled to the Dallas Convention Center for “The NFL Experience,” an interactive theme park entirely dedicated to football!

Wish day arrived on Sunday and the boys and their families went to Cowboys Stadium for Super Bowl XLV. From their incredible seats, Craig and Sean watched as Super Bowl MVP Aaron Rodgers and the Green Bay Packers defeated the Pittsburgh Steelers in a thrilling game.

During the game, Craig and Sean had the opportunity to celebrate with their families and forget all about their illnesses. For Craig and Sean, their unforgettable experiences at Super Bowl XLV will bring them strength and happiness in the future.
