Wish child Michael teams up with the Pawtucket Red Sox

On Thursday, June 7, wish child Michael, 15, threw out the ceremonial first pitch from the mound at McCoy Stadium in Pawtucket, Rhode Island, as the Pawtucket Red Sox faced the Indianapolis Indians. Michael, whose wish to go to Italy was granted last fall, attended the baseball game with his family in support of a fundraiser to benefit Make-A-Wish Massachusetts and Rhode Island. For every family ticket sold, 50% of proceeds were donated to help grant magical wishes for children in Rhode Island.
