Show your support for Team Kate, July 14 and 15!

From July 14-15, Team Kate will be riding for wishes in celebration of the 25th Anniversary of Make-A-Wish^® Massachusetts and Rhode Island! The cycling team, now in its 15th year of an annual bike ride to benefit Make-A-Wish, will ride through Massachusetts and Rhode Island in honor of the first wish granted by our organization in 1987. This year’s two-day event will start on Saturday morning, July 14, at the Make-A-Wish office in Boston. The cyclists will ride to Warwick, Rhode Island, where they will be treated to dinner before they rest for the second leg of their journey. On Sunday morning, July 15, the team will head toward their final destination of Wilmington, Massachusetts, home of our first wish child.

 

Creative posters, signs, and your hearty cheers and applause are welcome to help launch this ride and celebrate its completion! All are invited to greet and support the team at our Boston office as they embark on their bike ride on Saturday morning, and are also invited to welcome the team to Wilmington on Sunday. Bring your bike and ride the final mile with the team, or join in the post-ride celebration!
