Make-A-Wish® Massachusetts and Rhode Island has granted the heartfelt wishes of thousands of children battling life-threatening medical conditions. Beginning in 1987 with a family trip to York Beach, Maine, for a young girl battling Niemann-Pick disease, the organization has granted the wishes of over 6,000 courageous children in Massachusetts and Rhode Island. Wish children and their families receive the gifts of hope, strength, and joy through magical wish experiences made possible by our generous community of financial, volunteer, and in-kind supporters.
